Mitchell's Cub Scout Raingutter regata

Mitchell's friend Morgan won the raingutter regata. They raced three times. Mitch won the first race, they tied on the second race and Morgan won the final race to win the overall regata. The boys had lots of fun and did a great job.

Mitchell won every race but one, the final race. He did a great job and took second place.

Fall Sports

Hard to believe but this is the last week of Fall sports for the kids. For a month and a half life was really crazy trying to get three kids to soccer and football games.

Burping is funny!

Our 5 year old discovered that burping makes our 6 month old laugh uncontrollably. I think this is the only time Valorie has ever found burping hilarious.

Easter Weekend in St. George

We spent a fantastic weekend in St. George on Easter weekend with Valorie's side of the family. We got to stay in her parent's friend's condo. Of course it rained every day but Sunday, however, everyone still had a good time. Valorie and I would like to thank her parents for allowing us to stay in the condo. We'd also like to thank Valorie's sisters in-laws, the Shoemakers, for the wonderful easter dinner on sunday at their beautiful home in Hurricane

Adam likes to scream at his brother Mitchell. It's a happy scream that he only does for him. He really likes to stand up and has been doing so since he was 2 or 3 months old. Scott says he's going to grow up to be a tough BYU linebacker. We'll see.

Great Spring Weekend

It was an amazing spring weekend. On Saturday we had an impromtu backyard bar-b-que. My mom made beef and turkey burger mixed with purple onions and A-1 sauce. They were incredible. We topped the great weekend off by wishing my sister in law, Cindy Johnson a happy 40th birthday with a get together at Valorie's parents home.

South Valley View Ward Conference Temple Trip

It was an amazing spring morning in Utah. Our ward attended the Provo temple as part of our ward conference weekend. One goal our temple committee made was to try and do the equivalent of our wards population in temple work this year. Our goal is to do ancestors of our current ward members. On this temple trip, we were able to take our own names for every person for our ward that attended the temple. In fact, we had more names than people to perform the temple work. Guess we will just have to plan another trip soon. I shot a quick video of our gathering at Bishop Flemings office for prayer and handing out temple cards, just prior to leaving for the temple. I also did a short video of the gorgeous Provo temple and the temple grounds on this fantastic spring morning.

Adam Michael turns 5 months and Dad turns 37

Thought I'd post some pictures from my Birthday on March 8th. Valorie took some nice pictures of the kids, especially the baby who turned 5 months. The little dude is rolling over already. Last post I talked about Ryan having his tonsils out. In a twist of irony, now I have to get my tonsils taken out. March 26th is the fateful day. Everybody has been really good about telling me how awful it is and how much it is going to hurt. Thanks everyone! Oh, by the way, I made my own birthday cake, and it was delicious!!!
